Northwest Oregon's Fiercest Advocate

Northwest Oregon's Fiercest Advocate

Courtney Bangs is an educator, Clatsop County Commissioner, and mom of three with deep roots in Northwest Oregon, where she and her husband are raising their family on their sixth generation farm in Knappa.

Courtney understands firsthand the reality that rural families face every day: unaffordable housing and childcare, jobs and working forests under pressure, and aging roads that our tax dollars never seem to fix.

While Portland politicians continue to find ways to threaten our values with their one-size-fits-all agendas, Courtney Bangs will stand up for Northwest Oregon and fight to protect our rural way of life.

Courtney will:

  • Protect working forests and natural resource jobs

  • Cut red tape so housing can actually get built

  •  Fix rural roads, bridges, and dikes for flood protection

  • Demand accountability for every tax dollar sent to Salem

  • Support local law enforcement and keep communities safe

  • Defend local control of our schools, lands, and livelihoods

Endorsed by Senator Suzanne Weber

“Courtney Bangs is exactly the kind of leader we need in the Oregon Senate. No one is a fiercer advocate for the people she serves, and I can’t wait to see how she shakes things up in Salem.”

— Senator Suzanne Weber, Senate District 16
